It seems that they were pretty quick on the draw when they found a relation between self esteem and academic achievement. But look at Zimbardo's work with marshmallows and ask yourself why K-12 isn't trending in that direction? Instead K-12 and many others are quick to "believe" that kids today are fundamentally different with regards to cognition & multitasking because they have grown up with the internet. Yikes, that is going to come back and bite them.<br /><br />My vote: just be happy they got this one right in the end.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
