This podcast episode is a must.
It is a Social Media Examiner interview of Seth Godin about his approach
to selling his books. He refers to it as
“spreading his ideas” because he is not concerned about sales, revenue, or profit. Must be nice.
But I think there is a lot of value in what he has to say. I know this sounds cliché, but there are some
approaches to business that are simply better for the world than others. His is more transparent and honest as well as
cutting out the middleware that adds cost, hassle, and unnecessary gating on
creativity.
But rather than give you my take on his message, I think I
will just let you enjoy the podcast.
